How this one is built
Remote outlet control
You can reboot locked network hardware from your desk by cycling power to individual receptacles. Unused outlets can be turned off remotely to keep people from plugging unauthorized gear into your rack.
Load shedding capability
When line power drops and battery backup kicks in, you can shed nonessential hardware over the network. That leaves runtime available for core switches and storage arrays.
Input cord adapter
The main power cord comes with an adapter so you can land the feed on more than one type of utility receptacle. It gives you options when moving between different facility drops.
Field upgradeable firmware
The network interface accepts firmware updates over the wire as we release them. That keeps your management tools current with updated platform features without pulling hardware out of the rack.
