How this one is built
Molded LC connectors
Small-form-factor LC plugs seat firmly into transceivers and patch bays. The latch mechanism clicks home so you know the fiber faces are lined up and seated properly.
Halogen-free jacket material
The outer jacket uses a low-smoke, zero-halogen compound. It limits toxic fumes and corrosive smoke if exposed to high heat inside riser runs or tightly packed enclosures.
Backward optical compatibility
This fiber core works with existing legacy multimode infrastructure. You can drop it into older installations without having to swap out every patch lead in the path.
High bandwidth reach
Light pulses travel down the glass core without picking up electromagnetic interference from nearby power feeds. That keeps high-speed Ethernet signals clean from end to end.
