How this one is built
Pure sine wave output
Utility power is rarely clean, but sensitive active PFC power supplies need smooth AC waveform. The inverter produces clean sine wave output on battery to keep servers and networking gear running cool without strange transformer hums.
Automatic voltage regulation
Low utility voltage causes power supplies to run hot and strain internal components. The internal buck-and-boost transformer corrects sags and overvoltages without switching over to battery, saving your reserve runtime for actual outages.
Front panel status display
The LCD screen gives you line conditions, load levels and remaining runtime at the cabinet door without logging into a console. You can scroll through voltage readings or silence alarms directly from the front panel.
Management and shutdown connections
A rear USB port connects to your host server for automated shutdowns using our included PowerAlert software. An accessory slot accepts an optional network management card when you need to monitor the unit across your subnet.
