Tripp Lite 3.3/3.8kW Single-Phase 208/240V ATS/Monitored PDU with LX Platform Interface
Cabinet gear with only one power supply poses an obvious problem when a circuit drops. We build this transfer switch PDU to take two separate utility feeds and switch between them without dropping the connected load. A built-in network card lets you watch current draw from anywhere on your network.

How this one is built
Dual input switching
Two cords connect to separate power sources. The internal switch draws from the primary input until that line falls out of spec, then flips to the secondary feed so fast that sensitive server supplies keep running without dropping.
Network card interface
The LX Platform card slots right into the housing. It lets you monitor current draw, voltage and load levels over an Ethernet connection without standing in the hot aisle with a meter.
Steel rack enclosure
We build the chassis out of heavy sheet steel finished in black. It mounts into standard cabinet rails with the included brackets, putting the outlets and display right where patch cords can reach them.
Front panel metering
A digital display right on the front face shows the current drawn across the unit. You can check rack capacity during an install without opening a browser or logging into the network card.
On the nameplate
These are the figures published for this unit. Where a number is missing here it was not printed on the listing, and we would rather leave the row out than fill it with a guess.
