Tripp Lite 8U/12U/22U Expandable Wall-Mount 2-Post Open Frame Rack
Tight wiring closets leave little room on the floor for heavy hardware. We built this open frame steel rack to hang standard networking and power gear flat against the studs. The rails adjust during assembly, so you can set the height to match your hardware list today and change it later.

How this one is built
Adjustable frame height
The side rails bolt together in multiple positions. You can build a compact frame for a switch and patch panel, or extend the posts to make room for a UPS and battery packs without swapping the rack out.
Open wall layout
Equipment stays visible from all sides. Punching down patch blocks, checking switch port lights and tracing trunk runs takes less time when there are no side panels or doors blocking your hand tools and cable ties.
Steel gear support
Heavy gauge steel rails take the weight of network switches and power supplies. Equipment mounts securely between the uprights, keeping heavy chassis level and anchored to the wall studs instead of resting on a desk or floor.
Cable and air clearance
Air circulates freely around every chassis because the sides remain open. Bundle runs drop straight out the back or feed through the open top and bottom posts, keeping power lines separated from your data patch cords.
On the nameplate
These are the figures published for this unit. Where a number is missing here it was not printed on the listing, and we would rather leave the row out than fill it with a guess.
