How this one is built
All metal chassis
The sheet metal case takes the knocks of daily maintenance without flexing. Detachable mounting ears let you fix the unit into open frame racks, enclosed cabinets, or flat against a plywood backboard behind a telecom backboard.
Locking main plug
The input line ends in a heavy twist lock plug that seats firmly into matching receptacles. It will not vibrate loose when cabinet doors slam or when cables get pulled during routine patching work.
Receptacles on both faces
Outlets sit along the rear panel to catch standard server cords, while extra receptacles on the front face give you immediate access for test gear or temporary hardware without reaching around behind hot exhaust paths.
Unswitched power path
We omitted the master power switch so passing hands or catching sleeves cannot drop the whole cabinet by accident. Internal circuit breakers handle overloads directly without adding unnecessary mechanical failure points along the line.
