Tripp Lite DRS-1215 14 Outlet 1U Rack Mount Surge Protector
Network closets and audio racks fill up quickly with transformers, switch plugs, and small power supplies. We built this metal-clad surge suppressor to bolt right into the rails and spread its receptacles across both faces. It quiets line noise, clamps down on transients, and gives you clean cable routing where space is tight.

How this one is built
Receptacles front and back
Outlets sit on both faces of the housing. You can plug permanent cabinet hardware into the rear and keep the front open for test gear, temporary audio feeds, or hardware you need to reset by hand.
All-metal rack enclosure
The steel chassis takes the daily knocks of crowded server rooms and staging benches. Reversible brackets let you mount the unit across two posts or four, set it flat against a wall, or tuck it beneath a workbench.
Transient suppression and filtering
Internal suppression components absorb overvoltage spikes riding along the utility line before they reach connected equipment. Built-in filtering cuts back on electromagnetic and radio interference that can introduce hum into audio lines or jitter into data streams.
Switch cover and indicators
A clear snap cover shields the lighted master switch from accidental bumps by wandering patch cords or loose hands. Diagnostic lights show through the panel to confirm your incoming line has active surge suppression and proper grounding.
