How this one is built
Battery and surge banks
Receptacles across the top housing split into two groups. One bank draws on internal battery power during an outage, while the neighboring set provides line surge suppression for peripherals like flatbed scanners and desktop printers.
Brownout correction
Utility lines dip when heavy machinery starts or summer heat loads strain the grid. Internal circuitry corrects these voltage drops without switching over to battery reserves, preserving runtime for when the wall feed drops completely.
User serviceable cells
The internal battery compartment opens directly so you can swap depleted cells on your own bench. That keeps the chassis in service at your workstation instead of sending the whole unit out for disposal when the battery ages.
Unattended system shutdown
A communication connection works alongside management software on your workstation. If a blackout hits while you are away from the desk, the system receives the shutdown command automatically and closes active files before the battery depletes.
