We built this metered power distribution unit to spread a single input across two separate outlet banks while showing the current draw on an integrated digital display. An all-metal housing mounts directly to standard rails.

- 208/240V PDU: Delivers 5.8kW of power distribution and a built-in digital meter to monitor power loads.
- 18 OUTLETS & DIGITAL LOAD METER: 2U horizontal rackmount PDU features 18 total outlets 208/240V - (16) C13; (2) C19 divided in two separately 20A breakered load banks. Prevent overload by monitoring amperage for each outlet bank separately with the digital ammeter. Add both load bank current values to determine total input current.
- RUGGED BUILD: 2U PDU with reversible all-metal housing easily installs in EIA-standared 19in rack with included hardware and user-suppled screws. The long 1.8-meter ( 6 ft.) cord with NEMA L6-30P input plug easily connects to a UPS system, generator or mains input source for reliable multi-outlet power distribution.

How this one is built
Digital current display
A bright meter reports current draw directly on the face of the unit. You can check the load on each outlet bank before adding another server, helping you balance equipment across the two circuits without carrying handheld test gear into the aisle.
Two distinct load banks
Outlets are split into a pair of separately breakered banks. Running heavy draws across both circuits keeps one branch from tripping the other when cooling fans ramp up or power supplies draw inrush current on cold boots.
Reversible metal housing
The heavy-gauge chassis comes finished in metallic gray and bolts into standard rack rails using the included brackets. Mount it facing front or rear depending on whether you want to read the meter from the cold aisle or drop cords straight down.
Long reach input cord
A heavy power cord reaches out the back of the enclosure to land on a nearby battery backup, wall receptacle or generator feed. The attached plug seats firmly into the source without putting strain on the chassis connection.
