Tripp Lite Metered PDU with ATS, 15A, 8 Outlets (5-15R), 120V, 2 5-15P, 100-127V Input
Cabinet gear with only one power cord can still pull from redundant circuits. This unit accepts separate lines and switches over if the primary source drops. A front digital readout shows the current load, which helps when balancing feeds across your rack.

- 1U rackmount PDU with display to indicate total PDU power consumption in Amps
- Optional ATS (auto transfer switch) function enables setup for hot-swappable ups maintenance bypass, dual ups protection or dual AC input redundancy for critical single-corded network hardware
- 15a 120V capacity with 8 NEMA 5-15R outlets and 2 NEMA 5-15P input connections
- Switchover between primary and secondary power sources occurs in 2-7 milliseconds
- Optional snap network interface supports individual outlet control and remote monitoring of PDU loading and site electrical conditions
How this one is built
Automatic transfer switching
Two separate line cords plug into independent wall circuits or uninterruptible supplies. If the active feed drops out, internal circuitry switches to the secondary supply in a fraction of a second, keeping attached gear powered through the shift.
Front load readout
An integrated digital meter shows total power consumption as you rack and patch additional hardware. The display lets you verify draw before you plug in another server, avoiding overloads on the branch circuit.
Single-cord equipment support
Hardware built with only one line inlet gains dual-source redundancy without internal hardware changes. Switches, firewalls, and storage arrays tie in directly, remaining on through upstream source interruptions or planned maintenance bypass work.
Steel rackmount enclosure
Built in a black all-metal chassis, the unit bolts directly into standard equipment rails. Receptacles across the face hold line cords firmly, maintaining solid contact against vibration from cabinet exhaust fans.
On the nameplate
These are the figures published for this unit. Where a number is missing here it was not printed on the listing, and we would rather leave the row out than fill it with a guess.
