Tripp Lite OMNIVS1000 1000VA UPS 500W Battery Backup Surge Protector
Line voltage sags when big loads kick on nearby. This black unit corrects those drops without draining internal battery reserves, saving cell capacity for when utility feeds drop out completely. Downstream hardware gets enough run time to close files and power down in an orderly way.

How this one is built
Voltage correction circuit
Incoming dips get stepped back toward nominal without switching over to internal reserve power. That leaves the battery fully charged for actual outages.
Split outlet banks
Receptacles are divided between full battery support for host machines and surge attenuation for peripherals that do not need to stay up during blackouts.
Unattended system shutdown
The management software talks to connected operating systems over a data link, closing open documents and shutting the host machine down cleanly before reserves deplete.
Compact black enclosure
The chassis sits flat beneath a workstation or upright beside an enclosure where floor space is tight. It runs quiet during normal utility operation.

These are the figures published for this unit. Where a number is missing here it was not printed on the listing, and we would rather leave the row out than fill it with a guess.
