How this one is built
Floor mounting base
The wide bottom corners rest flat against the floor and give you anchor points to bolt the frame down solid. It stays put when heavy chassis slide in or when cables get pulled during a build.
Powder-coated steel
We form the uprights and cross members from heavy-gauge steel finished in a durable black powder coat. The frame handles the weight of full-depth servers, battery backups and storage arrays without sagging.
Toolless vertical slots
Keyhole cutouts along the vertical rails accept power distribution strips and cable managers without cage nuts. You snap them in by hand, which saves rail space on the front for your actual network gear.
Open frame airflow
Without solid side panels or doors to trap heat, equipment pulls ambient air directly through the chassis. Tracing patch leads, swapping cards and inspecting status lights takes a look rather than opening a locked door.
