Tripp Lite PDU 2.4kW, 120V Single-Phase Basic PDU

Cabinet gear needs clean physical access to raw utility or battery power without unnecessary electronics in the middle. We build this basic single-phase unit to take one main feed and break it out across front and rear receptacles. An all-metal chassis fastens directly to the rack rails to clean up cord clutter.

What it does

How this one is built

Receptacle placement

Outlets sit on both faces of the chassis. Gear mounted deep in the cabinet plugs in back, while test equipment or temporary bench gear catches the front receptacles without reaching through the frame.

Chassis construction

The metal housing bolts into standard equipment racks without flexing. It holds its shape under the weight of heavy power cords, keeping connections firm when technicians work inside crowded enclosures.

Built-in breaker

An integrated circuit breaker monitors the incoming line. If connected hardware draws more current than the circuit supports, the switch trips locally so you can isolate the load before resetting the feed.

Input cord reach

A heavy-duty input cord terminates in a standard plug that reaches cabinet UPS outlets, wall receptacles, or generator feeds. It delivers single-phase power directly to the distribution bus without setup steps.
