Tripp Lite PDU Basic 12 NEMA 5-15/20R L5-30P 2.9kW 120V 10ft Cord 36in 0U (PDUV30-36)
Racks fill up fast when every switch and server needs its own line drop. This basic unit mounts vertically along the rail to turn a single heavy wall feed into clean access points for the whole cabinet. We left off the power switch on purpose so nobody brushes against it while dressing cables.

- SINGLE-PHASE 120V PDU DISTRIBUTES NETWORK-GRADE POWER TO MULTIPLE LOADS: This basic PDU is an ideal no-frills unit for networking, telecom, security, audio/video and sound reinforcement applications. Recommended for data centers, computer rooms and network closets, the PDUV30-36 features two breakered load banks, each with six 5-15/20R outlets for connecting equipment. A 10-foot cord with NEMA L5-30P input plug connects to your facility’s AC power source, generator or protected UPS system to distribute power to connected loads.
- UP-TO-DATE SAFETY FEATURES PROTECT YOUR VITAL EQUIPMENT: The switchless design helps prevent an accidental shutdown, which could lead to costly downtime. Dual 20A circuit breakers protect connected components from dangerous overloads.
- VERSATILE INSTALLATION OPTIONS GIVE YOU PLENTY OF CHOICES: The 36-inch 0U PDU mounts vertically in an EIA-standard 19-inch rack using the included toolless mounting buttons or the included mounting brackets with user-supplied hardware. You may also use the brackets to secure the PDU to the underside of a counter with the addition of two user-supplied screws. Bolt-down retention brackets keep power cords organized and your rack free of clutter.
How this one is built
Vertical rail mounting
Included button mounts snap directly into standard rack holes without tools, keeping the face clear and accessible. Brackets also bolt to framing or under a workbench ledge when equipment sits outside an enclosure.
Dual breaker banks
Receptacles are split across two separate circuit banks. If one side draws too hard, its breaker opens without dropping the load carried on the other side of the chassis.
Switchless front face
There is no lighted rocker switch on the housing. Power stays on through routine maintenance so a sleeve or dangling patch cord cannot shut off the rack by mistake.
Cord retention brackets
Bolt-down brackets sit along the outlet face to secure line plugs in place. Plugs stay seated when rear doors close or when technicians pull new cable through the harness.
