  • SINGLE-PHASE 120V PDU DISTRIBUTES NETWORK-GRADE POWER TO MULTIPLE LOADS: This basic PDU is an ideal no-frills unit for networking, telecom, security, audio/video and sound reinforcement applications. Recommended for high-density IT environments, the PDU121506 features a single breakered load bank with 13 NEMA 5-15R outlets – 12 in the rear and one in front. A six-foot cord with NEMA 5-15P input plug connects to your facility’s AC power source, generator or protected UPS system to distribute power to connected loads.
  • UP-TO-DATE SAFETY FEATURES PROTECT YOUR VITAL EQUIPMENT: The switchless design helps prevent an accidental shutdown, which could lead to costly downtime. A 15A circuit breaker protects connected components from dangerous overloads.
  • VERSATILE INSTALLATION OPTIONS GIVE YOU PLENTY OF CHOICES: The reversible all-metal housing comes with mounting brackets for installation in 1U of space in an EIA-standard 19-inch rack. You can also reorient the brackets for permanent mounting under a counter or on a wall with user-supplied hardware. With a compatible rack and Tripp Lite’s PDUSIDEBRKT accessory (sold separately), you can adapt the PDU121506 for vertical 0U rack-mounting as well.
What it does

How this one is built

Reversible steel housing

The metal chassis mounts horizontally on standard rack rails or fits against a wall or under a wooden workbench with the included brackets. It takes the weight of thick input cords without twisting out of alignment.

Front convenience outlet

A single receptacle sits on the forward face alongside the main rear bank. That leaves a spot open for a test meter, a service laptop, or a temporary supply line without reaching into the hot aisle.

Switchless front panel

We left off the main power switch so an elbow or a stray patch cord cannot knock the load offline. An integrated circuit breaker steps in to interrupt the circuit when current draw exceeds safe limits.

Direct drop cord

The heavy-gauge input line reaches down to a floor box or across to a nearby uninterruptible power supply. It terminates in a standard utility plug that seats firmly in commercial receptacles.
