Tripp Lite PDU Basic 24 5-15/20R L5-30P 2.9kW 120V 10ft Cord 63.75in 0U (PDUV30)
Racks fill up fast when servers, switches and patch gear all need line drops. We built this basic PDU to mount vertically out of the way, taking a single feed from your wall drop, generator or backup unit and spreading it down the cabinet across dual circuit-protected banks.

- SINGLE-PHASE 120V PDU DISTRIBUTES NETWORK-GRADE POWER TO MULTIPLE LOADS: This basic PDU is an ideal no-frills unit for networking, telecom, security, audio/video and sound reinforcement applications. Recommended for small to mid-size data centers, computer rooms and network closets, the PDUV30 features two breakered load banks, each with 12 NEMA 5-15/20R outlets for connecting equipment. A 10-foot cord with NEMA L5-30P input plug connects to your facility’s AC power source, generator or protected UPS system to distribute power to connected loads.
- UP-TO-DATE SAFETY FEATURES PROTECT YOUR VITAL EQUIPMENT: The switchless design helps prevent an accidental shutdown, which could lead to costly downtime. Dual 20A circuit breakers protect connected components from dangerous overloads.
- VERSATILE INSTALLATION OPTIONS GIVE YOU PLENTY OF CHOICES: The 63.75-inch 0U PDU mounts vertically in an EIA-standard 19-inch rack using the included toolless mounting buttons or the included mounting brackets with user-supplied hardware. You may also use the brackets to secure the PDU to the underside of a counter with the addition of two user-supplied screws. Bolt-down retention brackets keep power cords organized and your rack free of clutter.
How this one is built
Switchless front panel
There is no master power switch on the chassis, so an elbow or a stray patch cord cannot drop the whole rack by accident. Power stays live as long as the main feed runs.
Dual load banks
Outlets run across two separate breakered banks to divide your equipment draw evenly. If one bank trips on an overload, the other continues feeding its assigned gear without interruption.
Vertical button mounting
Toolless mounting buttons let you drop the chassis directly into compatible rack channels without turning screws. Traditional brackets are also included for securing the frame to rails or beneath a work surface.
Cord retention brackets
Bolt-down brackets sit along the outlet strip to anchor power cables against accidental tugs. Plugs stay seated during maintenance work, keeping the back of the cabinet organized and clean.
