Tripp Lite RS1215-HG UL1363 Hospital Grade 1U Rack Mount Power Strips
Administrative offices, imaging labs and telecom closets need hardware that can take a beating without hogging rack space. We build this white all-metal strip with hospital-grade receptacles split across the front and rear faces. It bolts into a standard rack or fastens under a counter.

- NOT FOR PATIENT-CARE VICINITY: Medical-Grade Rackmount Power Strip supplies power outside of patient-care vicinities, such as administrative areas, rack enclosures or network closets. In a rack, it occupies just 1U of space. Compliant with UL 1363 specifications.
- MEDICAL GRADE SOLUTION WITH 12 HOSPITAL-GRADE OUTLETS & 15' CORD: This 120V, 50/60 Hz power strip features a NEMA 5-15P-HG hospital-grade plug and 12 NEMA 5-15R-HG hospital-grade outlets. Six of the outlets are oriented at the front of this power strip and six are oriented at the rear, so your power is located conveniently where you need it.
- CONVENIENT RACKMOUNT POWER STRIP: Occupies 1U of space in a standard 19-in. rack. Detachable mounting ears can be reoriented so you can put this power strip in a variety of installations: in a rack, on a wall or under a counter or table. The all-metal housing ensures safety and is guaranteed to last a long time in demanding surroundings.
- UL 1363 COMPLIANT & PREMIUM SAFETY FEATURES: Complies with UL 1363 specifications. Resettable 15A circuit breaker protects against dangerous overloads. Illuminated on/off switch has locking safety cover to prevent accidental shut-off.
- LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY: For peace of mind, this unit is backed by a lifetime warranty.
How this one is built
Reversible mounting brackets
Detachable mounting ears can be positioned for standard rack rails, wall surfaces or under a work table. The all-metal housing holds its shape when plugs are pulled and reseated repeatedly.
Split receptacle layout
Receptacles sit on both the front and back of the chassis. Route heavy stationary gear to the back inside the cabinet, while leaving front outlets open for test gear or mobile equipment.
Hospital-grade plug and cord
A heavy-duty line cord lands with a hospital-grade plug built for high-retention wall receptacles. The long reach gets down to floor boxes or across to a dedicated wall drop.
Covered power switch
An illuminated power switch sits beneath a clear locking cover so nobody brushes past and cuts power by mistake. A resettable circuit breaker trips if the load runs too hot.
On the nameplate
These are the figures published for this unit. Where a number is missing here it was not printed on the listing, and we would rather leave the row out than fill it with a guess.
