Tripp Lite RS1215-RA Heavy Duty Metal 1U Rack Mount Power Strips
Racks gather gear quickly, and wall cords rarely reach cleanly into the cabinet. We build this power strip with a heavy metal chassis that mounts into standard posts, walls, or under workbenches. Outlets sit on both faces to keep cord runs short and neat.

How this one is built
Heavy metal housing
The chassis is thick sheet metal that takes knocks during install and stays rigid once bolted into place. It will not crack or flex under the strain of heavy power cords.
Reversible mounting brackets
Hardware mounts to two-post or four-post frames, flat against a wall, or under a workbench top. You can rotate the ears to face forward, back, or flush depending on how deep the cabinet sits.
Front and rear outlets
Receptacles on both faces give you options for patching. Plug fixed cabinet gear into the rear bank, and leave the front outlets open for test gear, laptops, or temporary connections.
Protected power switch
A lighted master switch shows power status at a glance through the front mesh. A clear flip cover shields the rocker so passing elbows or loose patch cords will not kill the circuit.
On the nameplate
These are the figures our retail partner lists for this unit. Where a number is missing here it was not printed on the listing, and we would rather leave the row out than fill it with a guess.
