How this one is built
Double conversion operation
Incoming power is continuously converted from alternating current to direct current and back again. The output stays steady and clean, isolating connected gear from utility sags and spikes without switching delays.
Controllable outlet banks
Individual outlet banks can be managed separately through network software. You can reboot locked-up hardware remotely or shed nonessential loads to extend battery runtime for critical equipment during an extended outage.
Hot swappable battery tray
Internal batteries carry the load through blackouts and can be swapped out while the unit stays live. External battery packs can be added to the chassis when longer holdover times are needed in the rack.
Communication and management
Built-in serial and USB ports communicate with PowerAlert software for orderly operating system shutdowns. An accessory slot accepts optional network management cards for monitoring power conditions over the local network.
