Tripp Lite SU5000RTFMB 208V/230V 5000VA Double-Conversion UPS 4500W
Utility power rarely stays clean, and heavy server racks need steady current without interruption. We build this double-conversion system to run continuously on regenerated power, stepping higher line voltage down to standard levels while feeding connected gear. When the battery chassis needs service, the bypass keeps the load live.

- 5kVA UPS BATTERY BACKUP: Premium 4-outlet 4500W rackmount UPS battery backup. Features two L6-20R and two L6-30R outlets. Compatible with 200V-240V input voltages. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) corrects both line and battery mode output.
- PRE-INSTALLED 120V STEPDOWN TRANSFORMER: Converts 208V input power to 120V pure sine wave output for low-voltage equipment. Provides 18 NEMA 20A outlets, as well as 4 outlet group 20A circuit breakers, and 1 master 30A circuit breaker.
- PRE-INSTALLED MAINTENANCE BYPASS SWITCH: Enables removing the UPS for maintenance without disrupting power to the connected load. The bypass reroutes utility power to keep essential equipment operational while servicing the UPS battery backup.
- ADVANCED POWER FEATURES: UPS enables power management at the outlet group level. Pre-installed network interface card enables full remote configuration and management. Greatly extend runtime by connecting up to four BP180RT extended battery modules.
- RELIABLE PRODUCT FULLY BACKED AND SUPPORTED: Features a 2-Year Limited Manufacturer's Warranty and a $250,000 Lifetime Connected Equipment Insurance. This product is also covered by Eaton's expert technical support team over phone, web and email.
How this one is built
Manual bypass switch
The maintenance switch routes incoming utility power directly around the power module to connected hardware. You can pull the main unit for service or battery swaps without dropping the attached gear or powering down the rack.
Internal stepdown transformer
The stepdown transformer handles incoming high voltage and converts it to pure sine wave output for standard rack gear. Breakers protect the separate outlet groups and manage the incoming feed.
Network card slot
A pre-installed network card lets you monitor operating status, set alerts and configure load shedding remotely. You can cycle specific outlet banks from a web browser when hardware needs a hard reboot.
External battery expansion
When onboard runtime is not enough to bridge extended utility sags, auxiliary battery packs daisy-chain into the rear DC connector. The chassis auto-detects added banks to recalibrate available runtime.
