Tripp Lite Switched PDU with ATS, 7.4kW 230V Outlets (16 C13 & 2 C19), 2 IEC309 32A Blue Cords
Single-corded servers in a cabinet need power even when an upstream source drops. We built this distribution unit with dual input cords to pull from separate sources, switching to the backup line if the primary drops out. An onboard network card gives access to individual receptacles from across the facility.

How this one is built
Source transfer switch
Two heavy blue cords tie into separate single-phase feeds. When the primary line goes unstable or drops, the internal transfer switch shifts the load over to the secondary source fast enough to keep connected hardware running.
Network card interface
The built-in network card lets you monitor load levels and toggle individual outlets through a browser, SSH, telnet, or SNMP. You can cycle locked-up switches or shed nonessential gear without walking into the cold aisle.
Switched outlet banks
Receptacles are split across separate load banks to help balance what you plug in. Each outlet can be turned on or off independently, which keeps unauthorized hardware from being plugged in and overloading the branch.
All-metal rack housing
The black steel chassis mounts into standard equipment racks. It distributes utility or generator power right where switches, routers, and single-corded storage arrays bolt to the rails, keeping cord runs short and organized.
