Tripp Lite SWIVEL6 Surge Protector 6 Rotating Outlets Power Strip
Wall outlets behind desks and workbenches often end up blocked by bulky power bricks. We built this direct plug-in surge suppressor to mount right over a duplex receptacle, turning standard wall power into a bank of pivoting outlets. It absorbs transients on the incoming line and routes power where you need it.

How this one is built
Rotating outlet banks
Individual outlets pivot outward so large transformer blocks fit without covering neighboring sockets. You can swing each plug out of the way to keep cables flat against the wall.
Direct plug mounting
The housing plugs directly into a standard wall receptacle without an extra power cord to coil on the floor. It holds close to the wall plate to keep tight spaces tidy.
Line transient suppression
Internal components clamp high-voltage spikes and transient surges that travel along building wiring. The circuit takes the hit to shield connected electronics from dirty wall power.
Status indicator lights
Diagnostic LEDs on the face show grounding status and confirm the suppression components remain active. An automatic cutoff disconnects the load if the internal circuit ever wears out.
