How this one is built
Molded plastic housing
The white ABS enclosure handles the bumps of daily floor use while resisting heat. Keyhole slots molded into the back plate let you mount the body flush against a baseboard, stud, or the underside of a desk return.
Power and breaker switch
A single illuminated rocker switch controls power to the whole bank of outlets. An integrated circuit breaker trips open during an overload, and resets with a press once you clear the excess load from the strip.
Noise attenuation circuitry
Utility power lines carry electromagnetic interference and radio frequency noise from nearby motors and heavy equipment. Internal filtering cleans that hash out of the feed before it reaches sensitive power supplies and audio inputs.
Visual status indicator
An onboard diagnostic light confirms the surge suppression components are active across the incoming lines. You can tell at a quick glance under the desk that the internal circuitry is functioning properly.
