How this one is built
Side facing outlets
Wall warts and blocky power supplies block neighboring receptacles on standard strips. We spaced the side receptacles so several bulky transformers sit flat alongside regular equipment cords without crowding.
USB charging ports
A pair of USB ports on the face feeds phones, tablets, and small bench accessories directly. That frees the main AC receptacles for computer towers, monitors, and network switches.
Low profile wall plug
The flat wall plug stays close to the baseboard so desks and file cabinets push flush against the drywall. Keyhole slots on the backplate let you hang the housing under a shelf or directly on a wall.
Status lights and breaker
Diagnostic lights on the casing show whether the wall outlet has a proper ground and active suppression. An integrated power switch doubles as an onboard breaker to cut the line if current climbs too high.
