Tripp Lite TLP806TEL 8 Outlet Flat Plug Surge Protector + Phone Port

Desks collect transformer bricks quickly, and most wall plates sit right behind furniture. We built this strip with a flat plug that stays out of the way and enough outlet spacing to seat wide adapters without crowding out adjacent plugs. Built-in line filtering handles transient spikes and noise on both the electrical and telephone wiring.

What it does

How this one is built

Low profile wall plug

The right-angle plug sits flat against the receptacle, letting you push a desk or credenza close to the wall without pinching the cord. An integrated clip keeps the heavy cable routed neatly alongside furniture legs.

Space for transformer bricks

Standard wall warts take up more than their share of space on a standard strip. We spaced several receptacles wider than the rest so bulky power supplies can sit flat without blocking neighboring outlets.

Telephone line suppression

Spikes do not only travel across electrical lines; they also follow copper telephone and modem wires. Dedicated jacks accept standard phone lines to suppress incoming transients before they reach modems or fax hardware.

Diagnostic status lights

Built-in indicator lights show when the suppression circuitry is active and whether the wall outlet has an intact ground path. You can verify proper operation at a glance without pulling out a multimeter.
