Tripp Lite TLP864USBB 8 Outlet Surge Protector with 4 USB Ports
Desks collect hardware faster than wall plates can feed it. We built this strip to take in AC plugs alongside mobile gear, routing power through internal surge suppression and line noise filtering. The black housing sits flat on the floor or keys into a baseboard.

How this one is built
Long reach cord
The heavy power cord spans the distance between a distant baseboard receptacle and a work surface. That reach gives you leeway when laying out furniture without putting tension on the wall connection.
Dedicated USB power
A pair of USB ports supplies direct charging current to phones or tablets right at the strip. That leaves the standard AC receptacles free for monitors, printers, and desktop power supplies.
Noise filter circuits
Built-in filtration attenuates the electromagnetic and radio frequency interference that travels across building wiring. It smooths out line noise before it gets to sensitive audio gear or computing hardware.
Integrated keyhole slots
Mounting slots molded into the back panel let you hang the strip directly against a stud, work bench leg, or wall plate. Fastening it down keeps heavy transformer plugs from pulling the strip loose.
