Bulky transformer spacing
Wall warts take up space and crowd neighboring receptacles. We set three of the outlets apart from the rest of the row, so large power bricks plug in without covering adjacent positions.
Line noise attenuation
Electromagnetic and radio frequency interference travels along utility lines and muddies audio signals or disrupts sensitive hardware. Internal filtering cleans that high frequency hash off the power path before it hits connected gear.
Rear keyhole slots
Leaving a strip on the floor collects dust and gets kicked loose. Keyhole slots on the back panel let you hang the housing onto screws driven into a baseboard, stud, or the underside of a desk.
