Tripp Lite Universal Reversible USB 2.0 Hi-Speed Converter Adapter Cable
Fumbling behind a computer tower to insert a USB plug upside down wastes time. We built this cable with a reversible Type-A connector that seats into the port either way you turn it. The other end connects to cameras, older mobile phones and handheld gear that take a Mini-B plug.

How this one is built
Reversible plug
The standard USB Type-A connector goes into the host port right side up or upside down. You do not have to look at the jack before plugging it in.
Mini-B end
The smaller connector attaches directly to digital cameras, handheld electronics and legacy peripherals. It seats firmly to maintain connection during data transfers and charging.
Internal shielding
Tinned copper braid and aluminum Mylar foil wrap the interior wiring. This double layer shields signal lines from noise generated by nearby power leads and office equipment.
Plated contacts
Nickel plating covers the outer connector shells while gold plating coats the interior copper contacts. This keeps contact resistance low through repeated insertions over years on a desk.
On the nameplate
These are the figures published for this unit. Where a number is missing here it was not printed on the listing, and we would rather leave the row out than fill it with a guess.
