Tripp Lite USB 2.0 Hi-Speed Extension Cable (A M/F) 3-ft. (U024-003)
A short factory cord leaves peripherals stranded right against the computer chassis. This USB extension cord gives your printer, scanner, or external drive the slack needed to sit on a desk or shelf. It mates standard USB connectors with full shielding from end to end.

How this one is built
Double layer shielding
Tinned copper braid and aluminum Mylar foil wrap around the twisted data lines. This construction keeps nearby power cords and office equipment from degrading your signal along the run.
Plated metal contacts
Gold plating across the contact surfaces resists corrosion from humidity. It maintains clean metal-to-metal continuity after repeated insertions over the life of the workstation.
Molded connector ends
The plug and jack are molded directly to the outer jacket. That support absorbs the mechanical pull when someone tugs the cable around the corner of a desk.
Clean cable routing
The flexible black jacket blends into standard office furniture and cable trays. It routes cleanly behind desks to keep work surfaces free of clutter.
