How this one is built
Glass optical core
We build this run with genuine glass fiber instead of polymer strands. Light moves through the core with low attenuation loss that satisfies current networking standards across the link.
Bayonet style ST ends
Metal ST connectors use a classic twist-and-lock barrel that stays seated in the transceiver. Each ceramic ferrule aligns the fiber core cleanly against the optic on the far side.
Tough outer jacket
A flexible PVC jacket surrounds the optical strands to shield the glass from tight bends and rough cabinet edges. The bright orange skin makes the fiber path obvious inside crowded routing trays.
Clean backbone links
