How this one is built
Glass multimode core
True glass fiber carries the optical signal down the line with minimal attenuation loss. It handles network traffic across server rooms without suffering from electromagnetic interference from adjacent power lines.
Bayonet ST terminations
The classic round ST connectors push and twist into place. A spring-loaded bayonet mount holds the ferrule seated squarely against the receiving port so the connection stays put even if the cable gets bumped.
Flexible PVC jacket
We wrap the duplex strands in a flexible PVC outer layer. The orange jacket routes through tight wire managers, curves around rack posts, and stands out clearly when traced through dense cable bundles.
Duplex layout
Twin strands run side by side down the length of the cord to manage simultaneous transmit and receive paths. The separate legs simplify polarity management when patching between switches, converters, or distribution panels.
