How this one is built
Offset launch point
Laser light launched straight into the center of multimode glass causes differential mode delay. This assembly offsets the single mode fiber launch away from the core center, keeping the signal clean across the link.
LC to SC termination
One end lands LC connectors at the transceiver face, while the other end mates SC connections directly into the patch bay. The transition happens within the assembly, saving panel space.
Multimode backbone reuse
Upgrading optical transceivers does not require pulling fresh glass through the risers. This jumper adapts single mode optics directly to legacy plant cabling without replacing existing multimode runs.
Durable fiber jackets
Color-coded jacketing separates the single mode launch leg from the multimode receiving run for quick identification in the patch bay. Flexible strain relief boots keep the glass protected during routing.
