How this one is built
Open SFP transceiver slot
Slide in your choice of singlemode or multimode transceiver to match the optical plant already installed. The slot accepts standard modules so you can run the fiber link as far as the glass allows.
Power over Ethernet output
The RJ copper jack provides power directly over the network patch cord to remote devices. That saves pulling AC electrical conduit up to high ceilings, exterior walls or security poles.
Link status indicators
A row of diagnostic LEDs shows power, network traffic and active PoE feed right on the chassis. Link fault pass through monitors both the copper and fiber sides to flag broken connections quickly.
Stand alone power supply
The external power brick ships with interchangeable plug types for regional wall outlets across several continents. Plug it straight into the wall with no configuration software, driver disks or host computer needed.
