How this one is built
Push-pull latching
The slim connector housings snap directly into compatible cassettes and transceivers. A built-in pull tab lets a technician release the latch deep inside a packed patch panel without bumping adjacent links or disturbing neighboring fiber runs.
Plenum jacket construction
The outer jacket is rated for installation in environmental air spaces, drop ceilings, and raised floor plenums. It pulls smoothly through crowded conduit and wire baskets while resisting snagging on sharp metal edges.
Trunk consolidation
One compact assembly takes the place of a thick bundle of individual duplex cords. That opens up pathway space in vertical managers and cuts down on the clutter that chokes cold air intake at the rack face.
Multimode glass core
Laser-optimized glass inside carries high-bandwidth optical signals between distribution switches and server backplanes. The aqua jacket makes it easy to identify the multimode run during routine tracing and maintenance.
