Tripp Lite MTP/MPO Patch Cable 12 Fiber,40GbE, 40GBASE-SR4,OM3 Plenum-Rated
Dense fiber patches get messy fast when run as individual duplex pairs. We build this trunk with push pull MTP connectors on multimode glass to carry multiple optical strands through a single plenum rated jacket. It routes cleanly through drop ceilings and raised floors where space is tight.
Price as our retail partner last listed it. They set it and they can change it, so the figure on their page is the one that counts at checkout.
- MTP / MPO Push-Pull Connectors for Quick Fiber Optic connections
- 12 times the density of SC style connectors
- No need for long fan-out cables or individual long duplex cable runs
- High Density design cuts down on installation costs
- 50/125 OM3 Rated Multimode Fiber, 850nm
How this one is built
Push pull latching
The connector body seats with a firm click and releases with a straight pull on the housing tab. That makes it easier to work on dense cassettes where fingers cannot reach side clips.
Plenum jacket material
The outer jacket meets building codes for drop ceilings, air returns, and underfloor runs. It routes through shared air spaces without needing dedicated metal conduit.
Multimode optical strands
Multiple glass strands run parallel inside one thin jacket. This replaces a thick bundle of individual duplex lines with a single trunk, clearing air paths through crowded wire managers.
High density terminations
Terminating multiple fibers into one compact ferrule frees up patch panel real estate across the cabinet. You plug one connector instead of wrestling with several individual leads.
